OMG! Just called WFTC to change my hours of work - really simple yeah?
NO!
He spent the call sighing and even said "oh Jesus" at one point!! Because he couldn't find my information!
Told him it was a permanent change four times - when repeating back my information he said because it would only last four weeks it wouldn't change anything!!! Told him again it was permanent and would last more than four weeks and asked to speak to someone else - he laughed and said I couldn't!!
Have now got to phone back and spend twenty minutes in the queue to speak to someone who may or may not correctly update my details!
I never get !!!!ed off talking to call centres but I'm not being accused of benefit fraud because someone does not listen to what I'm saying!!!!
Sorry - rant over

Just write the details of your hours change in a letter and post it to them by recorded delivery. Job done.0

Beat me to it - mention the phone call and say you're writing to confirm the details.0 -
Also mention the phone call and complain about the service you received."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
ask for the tape plus the transcript and make an official complaint about their attitudeI'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0
