Emma bridgewater sale started today! Some really good bargains to be had. I waited until the 1st week in jan last year and got a discounted 'black toast' clock for the kitchen for about £18 (originally £40 then £25) and a few other nice bits and pieces. It was a seconds so was a bit worried that it might have a major imperfection but it was fine, dont even know why it was a second! There is free delivery over £75 at the moment but they may lower the amount you have to spend for free deliv if they struggle to sell items (I got free delivery last year after the sale had been on a week or so and I spent nowhere near that!) also remember quidco/tcb!

thankyou got some nice bits for myself.
  • Just to say I have bought seconds mugs from them before and could not tell there was anything wrong with them, they marked the imperfection with black felt pen (that rubbed off easily) but they were very minor things

I also have bought a lot of their seconds and as already said they look fine, and as they are so much cheaper, it makes you use them, rather than being to worried about useing and it getting broke, i have a lot of Emma Bridgewater and its just so lovely, so well made and best of all its made in the UK :j
i shall wait for a week or so for the prices to drop as they did last year ;)

  • I'd really like to buy the polka dot clock for my lovely friend - I will wait and see if it is reduced further although £23.95 isn't too bad. The reviews seem to suggest that the 'seconds' are fine - can anyone else confirm?

We live near the factory and have bought several items from them. Their seconds look fine to me. We have that very clock in our kitchen - you'd never tell it was a second.
    Never say never...

Just to add... my daughter went to a friends birthday party there where you paint your own plate. It came out really good.

last year mine were fine - and I had ordered a butter dish & clock but have had mugs in the past sales that have been fine too.
  • Further reductions now showing! :j
  • As well as further reductions there is now free delivery for orders over £25 (usually £75)

Delivery is usually £5 so a good deal.

    Remember tcb/quidco for 7% cashback

I have just ordered all my goodies :j
