The one issued from the local council was when I parked on the double yellows across from my flat. There was no where else to park as all the regular spaces were full as well as there being no space on the access road where I would otherwise have parked it. I'm not entirely bothered about the Council ticket as I work for the local council and should be able to get it anulled without much hassle.?

That's the bit that bothered me. What are the grounds for anulling it ? that you work for the council ? maybe up north it's different, down south that's called corruption.
