    My free credit report had lots of information missing which is readily available from Equifax and Experian.

    That's because they use a third agency called "Call Credit" instead of the 2 above.

    If you only get one credit report there could be missing information because most companies don't use all 3.

    In my experience Equifax and Experian are a lot more common than Call credit, but you could have information missing from the top 2 if they don't happen to be used by the lender you are using.
