And I really don't know what to do. We've been together over 7 years and really love each other. But the romance seems to have gone. We are quite stressed at the moment with trying to sell our house and both really busy at work, but we don't seem to do anything 'special' together.
We do spent most of our spare time together, but we don't do anything special or different. We are quite tight for money at the moment which doesn't help.
I don't know what to do. I know we still fancy each other, that isn't the problem, we just don't seem to make that extra effort and every evening is the same (he has to do a lot of work at home, outside of work, which means our evenings revolve around his work and the telly).
I'm worried we will continue like this and end up like siblings.
Help!

hmmm - I hate to say it but I think that's life? Or maybe you do need to make a bit of extra effort. How about writing down 10 things you'd both like to do (doesn't have to be sexual!) and then trade ideas?0

Someone may come along with ooodles of advice but for now how about.....
Plan one evening a week if possible to do something together.
No Tv until lat in the evening.
Cook a nice meal - cheap and cheerful.
Always look your best
Plan a walk over the weekend - even an hour circular walk locally.
the most important is talk to each other.........
good luck0 -
We do the same things most nights and I think it would probably be boring to many people, but I think we are just happy doing what we do. If what you normally do doesn't make you feel content, is there a way of tweaking it so you feel happier? If the 'fancying' side is still okay then it sounds like you just need a bit of the extra special in other ways too.
I hate TV. I think it kills conversation. Especially when it's put on without anything specific in mind to watch. Why not ban it for a couple of weeks and see what happens? I'm boring so I'm thinking scrabble, triv, cards etc. But maybe listening to music instead of the tv will get you talking? Or watch favourite films as a date with snacks and soft lights?May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
