Is the car where you left it or has an EU economic migrant just pocketed £150 for it?

Still wondering why 'EU economic migrant' is that relevant to the story. In fact it detracts from its perfectly valid warning and might lead to it being written off as 'just another immigration rant'0

So they will buy a car without any paperwork to break into bits, why would they pay someone else, when they could just go and lift any car themselves.?
I suppose that if they "buy" a vehicle from someone and it turns out to be stolen and they were given false ID then they may be prosecuted for receiving stolen goods but there is the possibility that a judge or the CPS will believe that they acted in good faith by accepting the ID.
However, if they get caught stealing the car themselves, then they don't really have much of a defense against the charges and if convicted, the penalty will probably be far higher than for just receiving.0
