Has anyone got any ideas for a secret sanda present for under a £10. The person that I am buying for is a woman and likes a lot of expensive stuff, bling and designer wear. So I am at a lost what to purchase.

Very similar to mine, I got her personalised mouse mat (of her steam engine.....) and a mug with an invitation to the royal wedding on with her name in the 'request the pleasure' section (she is extremely royalist....) both free from vistaprint, and I have given her a camping cookbook (for when she's with her steam engines at rallys.
Would something personalised help? as long as you order now, vistaprint's 21 day delivery should arrive in time?Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
I saw a great idea for a secret santa gift somewhere recently, they had printed a mug (I think at ASDA) to say 'our secret santa budget is £5 and all I got was this lousy mug!'0

what about a nice pair of leather gloves? Tesco have them for £8CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Theres a code that brings the price to £5.46 delivered, bit of uncertainty whether its actually a set of 3 but even for one its a lovely gift! Original post here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3627859 with details of code etc.

I love giving smaller/cheaper presents to family and friends.
That way even if they get thrown away after a short time it's not too much money wasted. I'd hate to spend £40 or £50 on a present that was not liked/used.
A favourite type of present I often give is a puzzle.
And they don't have to be as boring as they may sound.
Am going to give each of my kids an Addictaball this year (as a santa present/stocking filler).
Around £10 from Amazon.

Although they have a smaller version for £5:

I'm confident my kids will spend a week or so of trying desperately to complete it, and then probably throw them to the back of the cupboard (at which point I might recycle them/give them to charity, or whatever).
Another puzzle I have given to my father and FIL is the wine puzzle, where you 'lock' a bottle of wine in a wooden puzzle. They range from £10 to £30.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Puzzle-This-All-Bottled-Up/dp/B0049NX9W0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1322055279&sr=8-4
They are notoriously difficult to buy for as they typically don't like anything. They even moan about these puzzles. At first. But then you see them spending the next 3 or 4 days trying to work out the puzzle and get to the wine....lol... (I provide the puzzle with a cheap bottle of plonk too...lol...)
The addictaballs would make ideal Secret Santa gifts :-)There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't!0
