The article mentions that if using paypal for payments over £100 you're unable to go to your credit card provider if there's a problem. I wasn't aware of this. There was a recent thread where someone bought vouchers and didn't realise paypal didn't cover vouchers (like I didn't). I'm sure they said they'd used a paypal balance so didn't have the option of going to a credit card provider. Until reading this article I'd always thought that for a high value transaction I'd be able to go to a credit card provider if paypal couldn't sort the problem.0

Like all these articles it is not necessarily discussing ebay. So where I have the choice of a card or paypal on any online shop I tend to use paypal for smaller amounts and a card for larger.
However on ebay few sellers accept cards- and out of the rest of the options paypal is still the best.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
