houses for sale in need of repair/renovation.

probably a stupid question. anybody know of any websites that have houses for sale which are in need of renovation. my potential house purchase has fallen through and i am looking to purchase instead a house which is derelict/in need of repair/renovation - what they used to call a 'dump' basically. why? because i am hoping such houses will be comparatively cheaper. i know such houses are few and far between now but if anybody has any ideas i would appreciate it. areas i am interested in: London and cambridgeshire. thanks as always

try an auction in your area, not for the fait hearted tho! do your research on buying at auction as there are things you need to know and do before/during and after an auction.
Some EA's have homes that need repair, try asking them! as these aren't always as well advertised as the ones that don't need repair
