I had a window replaced by French doors and the radiator moved 3 years ago and it cost me about £2K. I am in London.
My neighbour is having part of a load bearing wall knocked down between her lounge and dining room and folding doors fitted. She saw 3 builders this week, I'll let you know how much they want when the quotes arrive.0 -
If you are only knocking down a partition wall that can be in a half day by a competent joiner .
A plasterer/decorator will probably need another day to make good the decoration .
If you`re looking at a maximum of 2 days work then obviously price is only going to be a few £100`s plus , possibly , a small amount for materials .
HTHI`m now officially too old to die young0
