Line Rental Saver...

Hi,
I currently pay BT for line rental and TalkTalk for calls. My broadband is elsewhere. I keep thinking about moving line rental and calls to another provider, eg Primus, but keep getting put off by poor reviews which they all seem to have.
I'm looking at going onto Line Saver Rental for a year, then look at other providers again in 12 months. I'm a *very* light user, in fact my monthly calls with TalkTalk sometimes totals £0.00, helped by working during the day and getting free weekend calls.
The terms state that if you don't make 2 calls per month, there's a £1.50 charge. Anyone know for sure if this is chargeable calls? The terms I've found state "Minimum call commitment: You must make at least 2 chargeable or inclusive calls per month". Does 'inclusive calls' mean I could just phone a freephone number a couple of times to make sure I don't receive the charge?
Oh, and do I just phone customer services on 0800 800150 or is there another number to call?
Cheers!

As it says, its any 2 calls which are chargeable or inclusive calls per month
Freefone call don't count but 'inclusive' calls made via BT will (i.e. 01/02/03/0845/0870 calls on the weekends) will.
If you also sign up to get free evening calls via BT for a year, then those will count as inclusive as well.

If you're scratching around for inclusive calls to make, the below may help.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/42188430#Comment_42188430Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
is there a provider out there that will supply my broadband and phone line until I sell my house, put it on hold (whilst I live with my parents to find new home) and then reconnect me. My sister is with Plusnet which was fine for her as she moved from one adress to another, but I am going home (where they are already connected). I don't know how long my house will be on the market for, but I need to have a phone line and BB installed. Can anyone help?0

I just tried to sign up to Line Rental Saver, and at the last stage it says by doing this I agree to return my calls to BT! I cancelled it.0

That clarifies what I was going to ask - was do the BT calls have to be chargeable or not. The info currently on BT says
"At least two BT calls must be made per month or six BT calls per quarter to avoid a monthly charge of £1.50 or a quarterly charge of £4.50 being added to your bill." Is not specific - and this is from the 'Legal Stuff'.I just tried to sign up to Line Rental Saver, and at the last stage it says by doing this I agree to return my calls to BT! I cancelled it.0 -

I've hesitated about transferring line rental to Sky; however the late discovery that BT were removing the paperless billing discount (I discovered it first on this site and received a letter from BT about it last Saturday) in addition to the previously announced price increase, finally led to me calling Sky tonight, to transfer the line rental to them.0 -

I think maybe you got what you need to know from pen1, but I use Onetel/TalkTalk for my calls.0
