Thanks OP! I already have an account with Lovefilm, does anyone know if they'd accept a new email/name but at the same address?

EDIT: After reading the t+c more carefully, I've answered my own question: 'The free trial is available only once to any one person and to only one member of a household. Subsequent free trials by the same person at any address, or by another person at the same address, are not permitted.'

    :(

But its not a free trial - you're paying £6 for it?

    Discussing it on hukd http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/3-months-unlimited-dvd-rental-streaming-for-4-groupon-lovefilm-20-amazon-voucher-1035282?page=1
I know it is not the exact deal in the post but it is obviously a regular one.
Seems to be able to be stacked and used on old accounts.
Will find out soon enough and if it cant then my sister in laws will have 3 months free

    I've been Money Tipped!
I just bought it but would like to buy it for someone else too, but I'm unsure how the Groupon works if you buy one for a gift, do you have to enter their info, do they have to activate it, does anyone know?

Well I bought 3 at once and the email said they would send the codes after this offer finishes so tomorrow I guess.
I dont know but I am guessing it is just a code you enter at lovefilm or your friend does.

On groupon website it says for new customers only.

I once went to sign up for a deal offered via tesco for rentals. It wouldnt let me as 1 year previous i had been a lovefilm customer and its lovefilm that provides tesco apparently.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride
  • I got this last time, but it had a deal of £6 for movies, £9 for movies & games. Got really excited when I woke upto this as seemed an ideal solution for having CoD and Battlefield for 3 months, and by then the prices would have gone down...but this seems to only have £6 movies. Is it just me or is that not really worth it when you consider you can just watch online these days. Assuming you get 2 out at a time, watch and return within a day or two and they don't work weekends would assume you can watch 4 a week thats 48 films over the 3 months - 12.5p a film. Sounds like a bargain until you compare + petrol driving to the post box every day vs. online ovguide viewing of £0.00....i'm going to stop rambling.
