Buyer doesn't like the product and is threatening bad feedback

Can any of you advise me, I sold a brand new eye make product on eBay and the buyer has contacted me to say it doesn't stay on long enough and isn't dark enough and that she can't bring herself to give positive feedback. What can I do? Surely it's not my responsibility that she doesn't like the colour? I think she is using the neg feedback as a threat as I have 100% positive feedback. Help!

Could possibly be construed as feedback extortion, as per the link below....

I'm sure someone who knows for certain will be along soon though....HTH0 -
Thanks, I was just thinking though, if she bought it from boots and didn't like it she wouldn't blame boots would she? Nor would boots accept it back. V frustrated and unsure of what to do.0

If she leaves a neg then reply in a calm factual manner & it hopefully shouldn't make a lot of difference to you, hopefully she won't trash all your stars.
When she contacted you did she say that she wanted a refund or anything or just that she didn't like it?0 -
No hasn't asked for a refund, just informing me that she 'can't bring herself to leave it good feedback'. She specifically said 'it' not 'you' and as the item was brand new, sealed and sent quickly and with reasonable postage.
I am guessing she wants something from me, as the feedback has not been left yet, but not sure what she expects and like I say I find it very unfair for me to get poor feedback. I am not a business, I just sell things I don't need that are my own.0 -
Tell them to complain to the manufacturer and that its unfair to blame you for selling a brand new product which
you did to the best of your ability.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Does anyone know if there is any way to stop her from leaving negative feedback?0

You could try offering them a full refund if they return the item. Depends what you're more worried about - the cost of the item or the feedback.0

Is she threatening you-or is she just saying she isn't leaving feedback EITHER way ? Are you sure you aren't reading more into this than is actually going on ?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

You cant please all the people all the time. Let her leave the feedback, and as others said, reply in a calm fair manner.99% is just as good as 100%0
