Hi
I applied for a 4 year loan in 2005 via website. As you can imagine my mind is a little hazy but i cannot remember requesting PPI, but i had this throughout loan. Did anyone on this forum apply for a loan this way and was there a box you had to either tick or untick?
Thanks

I had a loan back then and had a successful reclaim. I know A&L were fined for miselling and were refunding everybody from a certain period - but I cant recall when this was from.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

Hi
It appears that your not sure about PPI or remember purchasing the product, so maybe its possible it was mis sold to you, and as Oscar says they were also fined for mis selling of the PPI, you may have a case here.
To make a reclaim just complete the reclaim questionnaire as shown on step 3 below, send and save yourself a copy as well, good luck.

Oscar, is A&L still active or are these complaints being dealt with by Santander do you know?
Cheers. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

The massive fine that they had was for misselling over the phone, not for loan applications made over their website. I do know that santander are dealing with them now. I was just wondering if anyone had success in relaciming ppi who had also made an internet application
Thanks for help so far
