Was looking for some tyres for a 4x4 customer and found some... Always have a look at the other bidders history beforehand to see what they bid on...

The bidder with 474 feedback lives in the same town as the seller.

Call me thick (:o),.... but how can you see where the bidder lives?0 -
You can see where the bidder lives, by checking the sold items feedback and click on an item previously sold to see where they are from. Hope that helps.BSC member 137

Open the link provided by harvey then open the listing for the tyres.
Go the sellers feedback left for others and you will find one for a buyer with 474 feedback. You can then click on their name and see what items they have for sale. These will show the location of the seller.0 -

Sadly there is only one sure antidote for shill bidding. Go to the left hand box and where it says 'Buying Formats' just tick the 'buy it now' box. Look through the listings and then Check on Amazon which probably have it cheaper anyway... A shame really isn't it?European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.0

I had my first case of bid shielding on an item I was selling this week. Similar stats as above between the "two" buyers lol. They must think other eBayers are so thick! The excuse that the "winning" bidder used for not wanting the item was hilarious too. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
