No clue what to use.

Hi - Recently had linoleum laid down in the bathroom. There is now a space left between the skirting board (wooden) and the lino. How would I fill this up.
What product should I use.? I'm new to all this DIY stuff.
Incidentally. The wooden bath panels need replaced. I have seen the lousy sheet plastic type. I would rather not use that.
The linoleum was fitted underneath the bath panels. So bath is left open now.
I would need to take a bit of the bottom of the panels. Any advise what sort of waterproof materal that I could shave a bit off the bottom to fit as bath panels? Where would I buy such a thing?

Thanks

if the gap in only a few millimeters (2-3 at most) then a silicon sealent will be the easist solution. any wider the i would use some kind of wooden beading primed and painted to match the skirting.

As for the bath panel, i used a piece of marine ply ( as it is treated to nbe water proof) cut to size, then put beading around the edge and tiled the rest.
