This is quite common, I was exactly the same. The computer application will automatically deny you an account, but when she does it manually you should be fine, Barclays were a creditor of mine as well.

Thanks, i hope it will be ok, as he already feels rubbish, so not having an account would make him feel even worse:mad:

Hopefully he will be fine, it took about 4 days before they notified me that the application had gone through ok.

Mine was declined as well post AD. Went in again on Friday and spoke to someone who knew what he was talking about and was all good.

Opened mine a few months into BR, declined, appealed and had the account within a few days.

I got my pin in the post today.

Well, after the phone call to say he could have it we popped into the bank yesterday, as her appointment with someone else was taking ages, she popped out for him to sign the form.....then this morning we get a call so say even though the appeal said he could have it, it still wont go through, she has copntacted their support team, but no joy, so now i just dont know what to do....none of his debts were with Barclays, so now i dont know what to do, its just a good thing i have an account for his wages to go into:mad::mad::mad:
