Ebay - missing goods.

Won an auction for a BT Home Hub, paid using Paypal via a credit card. Seller despatched yesterday using recorded delivery. Arrived this morning packaging all intact. Opened the package and although all the leads etc were present the main Hub component was missing.

Have emailed seller via Ebay informing him (UK seller).

What should I be doing next & when?

Op bought a Home Hub. Why wouldn't the Home Hub be included? :)

(Unless of course you're talking empty box scammer!)
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

Seller has emailed back saying that he "could have sent a box without the actual Hub in it as he has several". He has apologised and "promised" to send a replacement.

    User051105 the link is here

You brought an item with a picture that obviously isn't the real item?!?!

Has to be said, your a lot braver then me!

EDIT: Buying a high priced item from someone whos only transactions in the past few months are stuff he has brought, he hasn't sold since August and doesn't appear to have been anything like that, your DEFINATLY a lot braver then me!

I have done this in the past and item was going to Italy, fortuantely when I got to PO I thoght the box felt too loght and took it home to check.

Would I have believed the buyer when they claimed to have received an empty box?...I don't know, hope your seller gets it sorted for you.
