Hi

Can anyone please advise -

I have had 2 loans with the Yorkshire Bank, which I do not have the agrrements for but I still have the payment books as these loans are over 7 years old they say that they have not got any information regarding them now, the books just have the amounts payable not split down into PPi and loan - As they were quite large loans I was hopeing there may be a way of claiming back my PPi as I had to have it to have the loans. Is this a no go claim because of length of time and I have no paperwork only books,

Thanks

  • Banks are only obliged to keep records for 6 years, so it is correct they do not have any further information to give you.

I don't know for sure, but if you can't prove you had the PPI I don't see how you could claim it back.
I am employed as a manager in a financial services institution. My views are entirely my own.
