Want to move back in with mum on benefits

Hi everyone
I would really appreciate your help on my situation.
I have decided to leave my partner as things haven't worked out between us. I have an 8 month old baby. I am currently still on maternity leave and due to go back to work in february. My last payment for SMP is this month. I work full time earning £30,000.
I would like to move back in with my mum for a while as I really need her support right now. Staying in my old place is not an option way to expensive for me alone. My mum lives alone and is on income support and also gets carers allowance as she cares for my nan. She is in receipt of full housing and council tax benefit.
I would like to know how her benefits will be affected if I move back in with her once I return to work?
I have had a look on the turn2us website and put all her details in and that she will have 1 non dependant (no where to state that there will be a baby in the household) and the results state that she will still keep receiving income support and some housing benefit and council tax. Is that right? I thought that by me moving in with her she would loose everything (except carers allowance). I thought that I would have to pay full rent and council tax. Am I missing something? Will any savings I have affect anything?
Would appreciate you lovely people's responses. All this is new to me.
Much appreciated!

it's right.
you would not be expected to support your mother, but would be expected to pay towards housing and council tax.0 -
Many thanks for your response. Will any savings I have affect the amount of housing or council tax benefit she will receive?0

No. Your savings won't affect her claim. You are 2 seperate people not a couple. Many thanks for your response. Will any savings I have affect the amount of housing or council tax benefit she will receive?:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

My daughter lives with me, although she earns far less than you do. I get IS and CA, which are not affected. My council tax benefit is affected as my daughter is a non-dependant, but she pays the amount due. It is worked out on the income of the non-dependant, although the bill is still sent to the householder (and is the responsibility of the householder).0
