in Cutting tax
I've just paid my tax for last year and half for next year (other half in july?).
I was wondering do I need to request a credit if next years tax due is less than what I pay on account for next year or do IR automatically alter it when I input the in's and out's for next year ?.

You wouldn't need to put the 'payment on account' on the tax return anywhere, HMRC will automatically adjust your bill. Only if you calculate your own tax will you need to deduct them from your calculations.Quidco savings: £499.49 tracked, £494.35 paid.0
