Listing clothing,item specifics,colours?

I want to list clothing,used,for sale,but am having difficulty with listing the item specifics.For example,if the item is for example looks like tweed ,ie mixed colours but not real tweed,how do you list the colours.I know I can describe the colour in the listing,but I am unsure how to use item specifics,particularly as I want to list to Europe.If you add an item colour yourself,like "RUST" for example,that is not specifid,but nothing matches in item specifics.Advice please?

Yes, you can specify your own item specifics if none of the eBay item specifics matches.

For example if I had a pink shirt with purple detailing for sale, I would list as "pink" as the main colour (anyone searching for pink shirts and filtering by that specific will see it) and add my own item specific to detail the presence of the purple.

If it's not a colour at all, you just enter the coloutr manually. It doesn't help in an item specific filter uch (which is very annoying) but can help with regular search. I am not sure how cassini will be coping with all of this when it comes online, so as a business seller, its vital to keep an eve on that as the change approaches.
