Urgent return my mistake Help!,,,,,,,!!!!!!!

I made a mistake and sent 2packages to the wrong folk. Can I get them to return to sender free of harge would the post office allow this.

    It really depends. If you can persuade the buyers to 'accept' the parcels and then take them straight back to the PO (or into a post box if they fit) marked clearly 'return to sender', then it might work and potentially you could get the stuff back in a few days or so.

    They 'should' but you might have to wait for custardy to confirm that. I also have a slight concern that they might take a while to come back.

  • If the packages were sent recorded, ask the sellers to refuse them.
    If the packaged were not sent recorded, ask the seller to write "not known at this address - return to sender" on it and post it back.

    You'll get your items back but I don't know how long it'll take.
  • Personally I would bite the bullet and pay both sellers to resend the items to the correct addressee - with their express permission first.

    Whatever you do, be communicative with both parties.

    To be on the safe side, I would take TOWIU's advice. Otherwise you risk things going wrong and potentially two negs.
