Good Morning
I left my full time temporary job a few months ago to look after my sick mother, for a period of approx. 3 months. Now, she is getting better and I am looking for work again.
If I wanted to cover ths period on my cv what would you advice that I cover it under i.e. would it be Personal Circumstances/Family Circumstances/Family Illness or some other heading?.
Thank You.

"full time carer", just the dates, keep it short, and expand at interview if required. do not over emphasise. Future employer does not want to think you have an ill relative who will need care all the time. "She broke her leg but obviously she's all better now" etc.Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -

Absolutely, keep it short and sweet and don't elaborate too much. I was pregnant at my last job interview 10 years ago, had to suck it in and squeeze my suit on, lol, I know they are not allowed to discriminate but really, you know they will. Just try to glide by it without too much emphasis so it doesn't look like it will be a recurring problem."There is no substitute for time."
