Hello all!

Now I've finally moved into a house with a garden, I'd like to start growing my own veg next year. Am I right in assuming that I need to wait for spring, or is there anything I can do to prepare now?

I have a small raised bed that I'm planning on using for herbs (it's currently full of thistle), and a border that I'll need to sort out. The sunlight is pretty good, and I have a patio that I can get sone sort of greenhouse on next year.

Do any of you green fingered wonders have any pratical advice or reccomendations for me?

Thanks in advance!
