Rug reduced @ debenhams but 1/2 of reduced price @ asda!!!!

PINK HARLEQUIN VINE RUG - HUGE BARGAIN TO BE HAD

This rug is in the sale with Debenhams, size 200 x 300cms which is the sort of size rug that I'm after but they are all hugely expensive at that size!!! The Debenhams one is £311.20.

Imagine my surprise when I came across exactly the SAME RUG on Asda Directs website for £144.00, less than 1/2 the sale price of Debenhams...

I will definitely be questioning whether I ever buy anything from Debenhams again, surely they must know that another retailer has the same item in a sale at a fraction of their sale price???

Unfortunately it's not the colour that I want (bright pink only), but I do hope that someone else might benefit from this amazing quality, size and priced rug x

Yes I see what you mean - initially I thought Deb's was £55+ then realised the size of it. Can't beat looking around -hope you find what you need

Ah, I should have mentioned that you have to select 200 x 300cms size on the Debenhams website - one of these days I'll stop confusing other people and myself!! x

It does appear to be a good deal from Asda but note it is on clearance and is only available in one size and one colour.

The shop I work in sells this range of rugs, including the option of a green colour in this design at approx £37M2 so we would sell a 3m x 2m for about £225 (We only hold the three smallest sizes in stock) however I would say that the importer has recently had a significant price rise. (The price I have quoted is the price they sell for now the price rise has gone through.) I would say the Asda offer is for the last of their old stock. The only other thing I could say is that this importer did make a range of rugs which it sold to Tesco which had the same name and the best designs of the uk range BUT the tesco ones were 10cm smaller on both dimensions AND a lower weight / quality. This made the ones in Tesco appear cheaper than the U.k. retailers stock. So there is a chance that the Debenhams one is full spec and the Asda is Asda spec, the only way to know is to put them side by side!

They are a nice rug but being synthetic are not good if you have an open fire as they would melt if subjected to too much heat!
