Claiming for lost 2nd hand item

I have only ever put in lost item claims for brand new BIN'S.
But recently sold some of my child's used clothing which has gone missing. How do I make the claim without the original receipt? can I claim to the value of the ebay sale? looking at the form it says I need the original receipt.
The parcel was lost to Italy, and not for the 1st time!

The printed eBay transaction page can be included in the claim form0 -
As a private seller RM shoud accept the ebay sale page as proof. You will find a great many sellers, myself included have Italy blocked as a destination due to their postal service.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Good - thank you.
I have thought of blocking Italy - at the moment I send all over the world, Australia and Germany being my number 1 buyers after u.k.
I very rarely get Italian buyers, and the number of parcels lost to Italy is proportionally much higher than other countries, I hate to discriminate though!0 -

in the more actions button (as shown below) there is a view order details button, which you can then press printer friendly version, then print and give in with the claim form as the proof of value
