someone i know is thinking of putting there rabbits in the green house for the winter wont they to hot

In summer yes. In winter-seriously doubt it. As long as the door is kept open for fresh air. Our cat used to love it sleeping in the green house.

I doubt it in winter. Our greenhouse can get quite cold, just no frost. We only have a plastic greenhouse though.

Sounds a bad idea to me. Not worth the risk. Bunnies are captives and can't move somewhere cooler when necessary. Cats can wander off. Bunnies are hardy in the cold, as long as they are protected from drafts with a hutch cover and plenty of clean bedding.
