Student finance sent a letter out to my nursery

Hi,
I wonder if anybody has a similar experience.
I sent the CCG2 form to sf in august but some of the data were incomplete so they asked me to provide another one (the missing data).
I have send out another CCG2 and my childcare provider informed me they have divided the total paid to them on the first CCG2 over too many weeks anyway so it was incorrect (this wasnt the original missing data that sf has requested).
I have changed a childcare provider during the year and they got confused and believed we have started with them a week earlier.
Anyway, it was taking ages to be proccesed so I called SF yesterday and have been told they sent out a letter to a nursery to confirm the costs. I have not put any false information on the form however I am worried they think I am lying to them.
Does anybody know how this letter looks like? Do they ask them for evidence or just to confirm the costs via letter?
I have no faith in that nursery regards filling out the forms and I am worried they will screw it up again and I will have my student support withdrawn.
Can anybody help?

Its standard for them to sent a request of confirmation of payments made to the nursery. Its just to make sure that you are actually paying the nursery.0

Thanks. Didi it happen to you?0

You leave your child in a nursery you have no faith in?
What if they are equally lacking when it comes to staff records, or important written information about the children?
If you have told the truth then you have nothing to worry about, but you could warn the nursery and ask if they're clear about the requirements if you prefer?0 -

I have clearly stated I have no faith in them regards this issue. The accoutant is a bit weird thats all. She is a lovely lady but not very brainy IMO.
The rest is obviously lovely otherwise my child woudlnt be there.
I have told them about this letter and ask them to show it to me before they send it off to make sure all the informations are correct. I am just worried she fills it out wrong and send it off before I see it lol.
I did tell the truth.0 -
Hi this happened to me too. I was overpaid £100 last year then I found out they had sent this random audit letter to the nursery only a few weeks after I had sent in the CCG2 form to confirm the costs.
I've nothing to hide so its just another exercise in wasting time and money by Student finance. Dont get me wrong, I am grateful for the financial help but their waste and systems are a shambles.
I had 3 letters sent to me last week telling me the same thing and another letter sent confirming the correct information. The amount of money they waste must be phenomenal.0 -
The nursery my children attend got a form from SF this week as well, though they checked with me before they filled it in. They got one last year as well although that was an audit form. To be honest I don't understand where SF get their figures from half the time as last year my actual childcare costs were no different from my estimates yet I had an overpayment of almost £600. I did ring them in October last year and say the CCG seemed to be too high and didn't tally with my estimated costs but they said it was fine. Then they said I'd been overpaid after I sent the last CCG2 in! I paid the nursery the exact amounts I put on the CCG1 and they put the same amounts on the CCG2 forms.
