looking for a 'small' 32" TV

Hi,
my wife has finally relented and agreed that we should replace our old 28" Beko crt TV - on one condition! It has to fit our TV cabinet that is just 76cms wide.:( I really want a 32" set, but they all seem to be just over the 76cm limit. Anybody know of a nice slim one? Thanks for any help or advice.......

I don't want to put the "mockers" on your plans - but do you really need a new TV ?

Modern flat screen TVs are (generally) capable of producing a high quality pictures - but primarily in HD. Many will produce a worse picture than a CRT set if you are watching SD programmes - especially if you are sitting a bit close.

I saw it explained once as: "modern TVs show how bad SD television really is"

Even if you find one the right size, do check that the manufacturer is happy for it to be installed INSIDE a cabinet. Most like there to be lots of ventilation space around and above the set.

By 'cabinet' do you mean one it goes inside or one it stands on?

If the former then I agree with the post above about checking there is enough ventilation.

If the latter this shouldn't be a problem as the base of most flat screens is small compared to the width of the set.
