AMEX to NATWEST

Hi. im in debt in both my Natwest accounts. one is a savings account and one is a current account. i have an AMEX Red Card but havent had it for 6 months so i cant withdraw cash yet. what is the best way to pay of my natwest debts with my AMEX?

(a) how did you get in debt with a savings account.
(b) withdrawing cash will cost 23.6% pa + fee on this card. This is probably more than you are paying natwest.
The only route to get a reasonable rate would be to get an egg money card and then balance transfer first from Amex to egg money, and then from egg money to the current account, but egg money currently charges less than Amex anyway. Approval would of course be subject to a credit check like any other card.
I dont think this is the best solution for you. If you are having problems with you debts I suggest you visit the debt free wannabe board, read the stickys, work out you statement of affairs then people will be able to advise.0 -

by the way, i set up a standing order from the savings account to pay for my car, thats how i got inot debt, it just keeps coming out¬0
