claiming money from an old bank account

I had an account with the manchester and salford trustee savings bank
a small amount of money has been there since 1963, i think TSB took them over, and since then they have become lloystsb, can i reclaim with interest

    If the account went dormant, then its not a reclaim. Reclaim is the term people use when making complaints. You are not making a complaint.

    All you need to do is go to that branch with multiple identification and account details and say what you have said here. If you do not have any account details then don't expect them to be able to find it after all this time. 50 years without use probably means it went dormant around 40 years ago. Your details are highly unlikely to be on modern record keeping systems.
