I'm dreading the onset of winter as I suffer terribly with S.A.D, so I ordered one of these on Monday because I couldn't believe the price (they're a fraction of the price of the others)!

I managed to get one for £9.99 in an auction but the seller is now offering buy it now for £14.99 + £4.99 P&P (arrives next day courier). I'm using mine now and I'm really chuffed with it! The same seller also has these for £9.99 + P&P:

Cheapest I've seen is £34.99 B-I-N.
And these for £9.99 + P&P...I'm having one for the office:

Hope that helps some of you.

I got a portable lamp from boots earlier this year and started using it end Jan, I think it made a big difference to me as I didn't suffer from my usual fed up state throughout the winter x0

I got one a Phillips one to trial from Bzzzagent earlier this year. Sadly didn't get it till nearer the end of winter, but am looking forward to seeing if it helps me this winter as I do suffer quite bad with it.
Good luck with yours too, hope it works out well.0 -
Best time to use one is in the morning0

thats a great spot, just ordered one thank you.
Here's one the same but alot dearer http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAD-LIGHT-BOX-SAD-THERAPY-SUNRISE-ALARM-CLOCK-LAMP-/170406734922?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_Natural_AlternativeTherapies&hash=item27ad086c4a0 -
I got a light bulb (energy saving, replaces normal bulb) and popped it in my living room, i pop it on in the morning and evening when its going dark early and it has worked wonders for me. if you go on ebay and search for SAD 65 the bulb i have comes up, it is rather large and is equivalent to a 325w bulb, they do have lower power bulbs but i have a large room and a quick burst from this works brilliantly, my friend has put a lower powered cheaper one in a lamp by her bed with a timer plug from £shop and uses this to wake her up rather than an alarm clock.
the high power ones are about £15 including postage, i have had mine about 2 years and its still going strong.0 -

Thanks. I'm going to use mine when I get up plus a couple of hours a night...trying to trick my brain into thinking it's daylight between 6am and 8pm
