My lovely husband told me to buy it for myself tomorrow when I'm in town meeting a friend for lunch, so thanks again dacingbutterfly as I never would have seen it if you hadn't posted this thread!

We're going abroad next weekend for our 1st anniversary, so I might take it with me ~ do you think it would look OK with flat black sandals or black wedges to go for a meal on the evening of our anniversary?

I'd tart it up with black tights and heels too though for when I wear it around my bday/Christmas time :)

  • Oh no, you'll look great. It's just not my colour. :p

I do quite like the shoes though. :D

    I'll get my coat. :o

As long as it matches the shoes.
    :p

:rotfl::rotfl: I'm sure they'd make your legs look fabulous, darling... ;)

blimey a year already? (nearly!) i remember looking at your photos from your day! wow time flies!

No worries :) i was scouring dotty ps waiting for the new collection so snapped it up straightaway!

arr bless him that's nice of him, it really is lovely in the flesh so to speak. Very sheer but clings in the 'right' places!

You could get away with both i think. Personally id go for the black wedges, a bit of height makes you look slimmer and your posture's better etc...but if your going somewhere nice and hot, flat sandals will look just as good :)

Likewise i'll get a lot of wear out of it! I'll wear it for a girls night out and for works xmas party and just hope no one says ''oh that's a lovely dress, i remember you wore it last timei seen you'' Do'h!!

Enjoy your anniversary break im sure you'll lovely gorgeous in it!

I might post a pic on sunday to show the end result lol!

Oh Yes, post a pic! It won't look as good on me as on you cos I'm a fatty bum bum lol, but I really like the style, the print and especially the sleeves to hide my bingo wings :rotfl:

I've lost 2 stone since my wedding, so I'm a 16/18 now (18 top, 16 bottom), but I still hate showing my arms and legs off :o

Ahh well, I'll be in a foreign country and nobody will know me, so I don't care! :D

I went yesterday and they didn't have it in the shop, grrrr!

Will have to buy it online now and just hope the size I order, fits!

Is it really clingy, or is it a more softer jersey type fabric? x
