Hey there, first post here after lurking a few months, excellent site!
Anyway, i have been trying to sell a Husky Stella Artois fridge, and require information on how best to post it. The prospective buyer has said he arranged delivery of a similar sized and weighted object for £10.
IS this possible, and with who? I ideally want it collected as i dont want to lug it down the post office!!
# Dimensions: (H)50, (W)43.5, (D)47cm.
# Weight 20 kg.
rough guides off Argos website
many thanks

so tell the buyer that. don't be forced into doing something you do not want to do.
or if they think they can arrange delivery for £10.00 let them organise it.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..

state that its for collection only, or the buyer arranges own transport/delivery....0

thanks for everyones replies!
I am reluctant to post it, but i also need rid of it asap as i simply no longer have the room for it, and is currently clogging up my kitchen!
I would prefer collection, is there anywhere on this board that i can advertise it, or is that against rules here?
btw, can that eBay courier be trusted? i know he has very good feedback but still sceptical0 -
not allowed to advertize on these boards..
you could try freecycle if you wanted to give it away.....

The buyer is probably mentioning Parcel2Go, nice and cheap, but if you can actually get them to come to yours to pick it up then it's a minor miracle553780080 -
are Parcel2Go not very reliable then? i really dont know what to do.
I think i will just say collection only to minimize problems
thanks for everyones input so far0 -
I've never had any problems with Parcels To Go, but it would cost you more than £10 - I think its approx £10.95 + VAT taking it to nearer £13.00. and that is limited to weight.

I definately recommend payperdrop's delivery service - its 2nd to none!0

Postvan.com offer an excellent service and last time I used them there was no restriction on size where parcel2go had a size restriction. they are both around the same price but there are often voucher codes knocking around for parcel2go so you can get it cheaper.
Hope this helps.0
