  • hello jennake i can sugestCala Gracio

    Beaches
Pine trees provide a fragrant backdrop to Cala Gracio’s horseshoe-shaped sandy beach - a gorgeous hideaway, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The smaller beach at Calo des Moro is about 500m away.

    Eating out
San Antonio Town and Bay are brimming with cafés, snack bars, restaurants, lively bars and pubs. You’ll have no trouble satisfying your appetite for traditional Spanish food, Chinese, or for those looking for home away from home, a regular cooked English breakfast. After dinner why not sip on a sangria and watch the sun set over the azure waters of the Mediterranean.

    Nightlife
Nightlife in Ibiza is world-famous and neighbouring San Antonio is home to the island's most illustrious clubs. Cala Gracio itself has a much quieter nightlife with just a few traditional bars, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds from here.

    Shopping
The shopping in Cala Gracio is minimal, although souvenir outlets and supermarkets are available. Nearby San Antonio offers many more exciting opportunities, ranging from sports shops to designer boutiques. The Hippy market at Es Cana is also well worth a visit.the hotel

    Santa Eulalia, Ibiza
    The beach at Santa Eulalia

Santa Eulalia, Ibiza's third largest resort is only 21 kms from the airport and is a beloved destination for families and those seeking a quieter holiday. There is a beautiful, palm-lined promenade running the length of the broad and sandy beach, (which is perfectly safe for the kids), and some excellent hotels and apartments in and around the town itself.

The Prom. Santa Eulalia has a long-established reputation as the island's gastronomic and cultural centre. Art Galleries, the beautiful and exclusive Yacht Marina, some of the island's best restaurants, some very exclusive shopping, and a thriving all-year community, ensure that life in Santa Eulalia is led at a rather slower and more relaxing pace. There are some excellent bars here too, but the nightlife is nothing like Ibiza or San Antonio.

Think this would be a good choice for a family plus you're only a 15 minute taxi ride or bus ride to Ibiza town if you want a more full on night!

Santa Eulalia for a more spanish experience as there is a nice central square and plenty of places to eat out as well as easy acess to other parts of the island as it is main bus route- possible to walk to es cana which is also suitable but al little quiter and more suited to the british as only one spanish place to eat. alternatively cala llonga is very family focused there are plenty of activities on the beach and many hotels that you could join in in the evening- generally hotel really don't mind especially if your buying drinks at their prices!

Any other questions i'll try to answer!
  • I've been to Es Cana, Santa Eulalia and Playa D'en Bossa. Our kids are 13 & 9.
I think that Es Cana is too quiet of an evening - although it is a lovely resort.
PDB was quite dirty and full of 18-30s having a good time - but it does have a decent water park.
I would go for Santa Eulalia - ideally situated for taking the ferries to neighbouring resorts and Ibiza Town, or taking advantage of the cheap buses.

Most of the evening entertainment centres around your hotel really, so make sure you read all the reviews carefully.
