HSBC Overdraft Charges

I don't know if many of you HSBC current account holders are aware of the overdraft charges being imposed by HSBC. If you exceed your overdraft limit (silly but too do-able I'm afraid) they impose an overdraft charge of £25.00 - "not bad" you might think BUT it's £25.00 PER TRANSACTION (if the transactions value is £25.00 or over) while your account's limit is exceeded. The maximum charge applied in any month is £150.00 (a huge amount of money in anyones' opinion?). It's in the small print so make sure you read it!!

In the past, if I know a DD or SO will make me have a charge, I cancel the offending item.0
