Hello All,
I wonder if you could advice me.
I left the country in 2002 and have come back to a £ 6000 debt.
I have contacted the three companies I owe money and they all want me to go through a pay plan with them and set a minumiun amount I can pay them every month.
Is it better to go ahead and deal with all the companies individually or should I approach a debt management company to do it on my behalf. If you think I should approach a debt management company, which one is the better one or cheaper one?
Please advice
Thanks
Ev

If you saw a job advertised which meant you had to sign and post 3 cheques a month and get paid £50 would you take it?
Obviously yes because it's easy money.
So why do you want to pay someone else to do the same thing?
Contact the companies yourself, tell them how much you can reasonably afford. Set up a standing order to pay this amount each month. Then you need to trim your budget and keep trimming so that you can stop wasting as much money as possible and use it to bring your debt free date even closer.0 -
