Evidence for JSA (savings, premium bonds)

In the middle of completing my online application for JSA, just have a few questions of what kind of evidence you need to provide for any savings you've declared. For money in bank accounts I guess statements are enough, how many months back do you need to go usually? What about money in premium bonds? Can I get NS&I to send me a copy of what I hold there and will that be enough as proof, can't seem to find any proper record of it at home.
Plus, if you live at home with your parents, it is only your income that is taken into account, right?

Comments

  • I just took a print-out of my internet banking homepage to show how much money was currently in each account. They just need to know how much money/ savings you currently have.

If you have been working prior to now, you may be eligible for 6 months contributory-based JSA, which is unaffected by your income.
