Does anyone know anything about this company.
http://www.lgvspecialist.co.uk/
basically trying to get my son on a LGV course and received a brochure from them. They have called me 2 times in 2 days and seem over the phone a good company. Cant find any reviews on the net however so was hoping some one here may have dealt with them before.
Any help please. The course is £1500 for class 2 so cannot afford to throw away money on companies that are not very good etc.

All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

Dont know of them but as mentioned before the licence can be done for free on an apprenticeship, also contact local JCP to see if they have any funds available for training.0

Are you aware that for your son to be employed that once he has passed the test that he has to take a 35hr Drivers CPC course which he will need to fund? Without a Drivers CPC he cannot be employed as a LGV driver.
£1500 sounds too cheap - in fact it sounds about half what it should be. I paid £1500 for a weeks intensive Cat C+E (Artic) course in 1993 which was the going rate at the time.0 -
Looks like a broker to me. I don't know of any nationwide training companies. They'll just pass you on to a local firm and take a cut, scum of the earth in my opinion.
Get the yellowpages out and ring round local training firms and see what they have to offer. Also have a look on Trucknet, as I said before, ask these questions on there and you'll get some answers from people in the industry.0
