Hi,I have just recieved an email from ebay(checked through my messages)and it is genuine, asking me to become a bronze powerseller. I am chuffed to bits.
The only thing is,I had a really good december on ebay and sold about 150-200 items, but the previous months I probably only sold an average of 10-20 items each month if I was lucky.
My question is about how many sales would I have to make each month to retain the powerseller status?,do these have to be sales or just listings?.
The only reason I had so many sales in December is that I was trying to raise some extra cash to cover christmas and could get things that would sell really well,I am not guarenteed to be able to do this every month.
I am a mum of 2 and work part time,do you think it is in my interests to compleate the application for powerseller status and see if I can maintain a high sales level or should I just keep plodding along selling things when I have them available.
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated
thanks in advance :T

The bronze level requires *either* 100 sales per month or £750 turnover per month based on a three month average.
You don't have to do anything to be a powerseller, just accept the invite and the logo will display by your user ID. If your sales drop below the required level you'll get about a months warning of the power seller status being withdrawn.

criteria for powerseller status here....

Ive had my badge given, and taken back, about 20 times over the last 3 or 4 years. Its based on feedback being above 98% I think and then it comes down to either number of sales, or commission paid to ebay on sales.
Its cool having the badge because I then use html coding to have a banner on my listings with the powerseller logos.
Im in a period of NOT being a powerseller although I'll get it back soon as Ive sold tonnes over the past few weeks.0 -
Thanks for the replys so far.
soolin ,do I have to have high price sales or is it that so long as I sell 100 items a month, even if they are for 50p each I will stay a power seller?.
Also is it monthly by the normal start and end of each month?.
Kriss_boy ,What is the hmlt coding and banner listing with the powerseller logo, how do you do that and does it make a big difference.
