Holiday home in Cornwall (or Devon) 2012

I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has found a really good holiday home for rent in Cornwall this year (or possible north Devon). We hope to go next year. Probably May or June.
We need 4 or 5 bedrooms to sleep 8, two bathrooms and parking for three cars. Ideally walking distance to a beach or, failing that, 10 minutes drive to a beach with easy parking.
I know I'm asking a lot but you never know I might be lucky!
Thanks.

We stayed in a lovely cottage called Copper Beech in a village called Jacobstow about 7 miles south of Bude, it sleeps 8-10 and was immaculate, can't recommend it enough, we parked 4 cars, its got 2 doubles with en-suite, 2 single rooms that also have pull out beds in them and a family bathroom upstairs, and downstairs a twin room and another bathroom, plus another toilet, large lounge, kitchen, dining room, boot room and utility. It took about 15 mins to drive to Bude which have great beaches and plenty or parking, Widemouth Bay is about 10 mins, great for surfing and then we found a lovely little beach Crackington Haven for rock pooling in the evening if the tide was right.0

Toad Hall, near Looe, Cornwall.
It was beautiful!!! Down a narrow road but gorgeous place. The best thing was the sunken trampoline!!0 -
There are over 1000 holiday cottages in cornwall to rent on cornwall-cottages.info
They include cottages from a number of different agents and probably have one of the largest selection of cornish cottages for rent around.0 -
This is the company we go with: https://www.cornishseaviewcottages.co.uk
It's mostly around North Cornwall but the properties are always well maintained, good sizes and in nice locations (although you will have to drive if you want to go to any major attractions other than beaches as most of them tend to be a bit further south). We've been back to them three years on the run and are planning to go back again next June."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
These are the ones I've previously booked with, not had a problem with any of them:
