Looking for travel lodge/premier inn hotels in London.

I'm going to a show at the O2 arena in December. I will be travelling down to London by train & will no doubt arrive at Kings Cross station.

I can't decide whether to try & book a double room close to the arena or the train station. I'm not too familiar with London, so any advice would be appreciated.

I guess I could also consider B & Bs/other hotels aswell. It's only for one night.

When my kids go to the O2, they stay at the docklands lodge. It seems ok. It really depends if you want to travel back across London after the show. If you don`t mind, then there are 3 lodges near Kings X and a newer one right next to Euston. The next sale starts on Thursday with rooms from £12.
  • Going to have a look on lastminute.com at the secret hotels.

Does anyone know of the closest hotels near the O2 arena?

Premier in have a new hotel in Greenwich it comes up as London Greenwich on the site.

I have used it a couple of times and although it has no hotel parking it has pay and display parking that is free after 6:00 pm until 8:00 am.

    the adress is
    43-81 Greenwich High Road, Greenwich,
    London SE10 8JL

The Greenwich Premier Inn is nearer to Deptford Bridge DLR Station than Greenwich I stayed there a few weeks ago, Premier Inn also have hotels in Stratford and next to Kings Cross I have stayed at the KC one and will be at the Stratford one in a couple of weeks. I would be surprised if you get a room in a London Premier Inn for less than £60 though. Having said that you get a clean comfortable room and breakfast if you want it for £7.99 I have stayed in them a lot for business and most of them have been fine just had two in 15 months where the restaurant was rubbish.
