ASDA knee high white socks 8 pairs for £4

When shopping for socks yesterday I noticed that girls size 4-5 white knee high socks were 8 pairs for £4 while all the other socks in other sizes were 5 for £5. I asked someone who had the stock book in her hand and she said it must have been a manufacture glitch as they should have been 5 for £5
