Most companies do this [Morrison's do it for all Management positions] - You can have debt but obviously CCJs etc, could go against you, They basically assess how trustworthy as an employee based on your personal credit history you would be.:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21
June: £43.15/July: £51.22/August: £90.60/September: £29.75/October: £284.07/November: £171.08/December: £29.220 -
Having a CCJ doesn't mean you're not trustworthy.0

What does written offer say? If it says you have the job subject to satisfactory references then they won't do a credit check. If it says subject to references and a satisfactory credit check then you can worry.0

I agree - But with more and more companies now requesting this kind of information it would seem some companies think it does:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

well they said they would like to offer me a job in the interview i shook hands they said they will fax over information to head office and send contracts out so i can sign them but i got a watchdog security check today i remember agreeing and signing a form allowing them to check and send me it.. and it said nothing about ccj's or credit it was just asking for references if i have any criminal convictions how long i have been out of work last 2 years of employment and full time education.. i have a start date next friday0
