Accommodation for 12+ in Oxfordshire. Any ideas?!

I’m looking for accommodation for 12 people next March to celebrate my uncle’s 60th birthday. I thought Oxfordshire would be good as it is fairly central for everyone coming and we could have a day out in Oxford although that could be changed. Ideally we’d like to stay somewhere with at least 6 bedrooms and somewhere we can all sit together to eat etc. I haven’t been able to find anything for less than £1500 whereas really we want to keep it below £1000. The date we want isn’t in the school holidays this year so I thought it would be a little cheaper. If anyone has any recommendations I’d be pleased to hear them!
