Dismissal appeals

Does anyone know if during the appeal process for dismissal am I still actually employed by my company?

No - you are dismissed and if you win then you will have your reinstatement backdated.0

If you do not win your appeal and feel you have a possible tribunal case for unfair dismissal it is important to note that there is a STRICT three month time limit (less one day) from the day you were dismissed.
Some firms deliberately string out the appeal process to try to trip people up. You can, if necessary, start a tribunal claim whilst waiting for an appeal. You can always withdraw it if your appeal is successful.0 -
My Company would probably string it out as this is there style..my union will be involved with the appeal so I will contact them to see what they say about a tribunal claim.
