I came accross this company after a quick eBay search...found it via google as I always check prices of items I buy at companies.
The company is https://www.123wholesale.co.uk.
They have a mininum spend of just under £70 and I was interested in a few of their items which I was going to buy anyway for slightly at a hgiiher price on eBay and from other companies.
Has anyone dealt with them? What do you think? Im sure I as a consumer can shop with them?

Be careful what you buy off them. I bought a pallet of return goods and all of the item turned out to be either broken or faulty. If you do buy from them its best you stick to the a grade stock as thats all working and in tip-top condition.
Many of the best item sell straight away so you got to be quick off the mark.... I just can't be bothered with them any more though after the trouble i had shifting the stuff they gave me last time. Still have bits and bats lying in the loft.....
They have a quick delivery service though so you will get it fast.
Hope it all helps. ;-):eek:0 -
i looked into them a little, a lot of the items they are selling, people do buy to sell on ebay, so you can pretty much check their stock and then see who else is selling it, and how much they are getting for it.
Then you can decide if its worth your while to undercut them, bearing in mind they will probably then undercut you.0 -
Think you would be unlikely to turn a profit on their stock. Most of it is on eBay already so you will have heavy competition which means low prices and low profit. They dont sell anything specialised.
I would recommend thinking about what you want to sell, maybe something you have an interest it. Research it and find a niche then find some suppliers you can rely on.0 -

i think u got it wrong mate...wires crossed.. i was looking to buy pallet returns and phoned a lot of companies to find out who did them. there's only a handful - geneva, tic, zenith is all i found.....but 123wholesale is not one of them (they only do new stuff). ur right about one thing though....keep well clear of pallet returns ... none of the stuff ever works... but what do u expect ... u pay peanuts ..u only get monkey stuff.0 -

i've used these boys for almost 2 years now. u can make money from selling thier stuff but only if you are careful with how you sell ur stuff.... u dont have to be the cheapest to be successful on ebay. i find having a lot of varied products is more likely to entice a customer to buy from you over someone else. its makes u look more credible. fast shipping is also likely to clinch a sale .. most people dont mind paying a little extra for a speedy service. also be willing to run a couple of loss leaders. ebay is fine as it is...but u cant depend on its solely as an income source... supplimentment it with your own ecommerce website .... thats where you make much better money and a lot less hassle with customers!0 -
I'm not really in a position to buy anything by the pallet (I live in a 3rd floor rented flat), but I've sometimes seen "returns" lots on eBay (e.g. boxes of faulty digital cameras) and wondered if there's any money in them. Does anyone know if the original accessories (batteries, cables etc) are usually included with that sort of thing?0

ask yourself a simple question... "why are such expensive things being sold for so little money". if it was genuinely sell-able stock, then the company would not be looking to sell it so cheaply. in a nutshell...dont expect much if you plan to buy any pallet returns. in fact don’t even expect it to work. at least then it will surpass your expectations!
if you want to buy in small quantities, try 123wholesale.co.uk - they have a very low minimum order requirement.0 -
i sort of agree with the advice so far,
i brought a pallet load of hoovers and 2 or 3 were unsellable due to not working and one was missing to many bits,
i only barely broke even on the goods i managed to sell on ebay.
mind you i am curious to find out if any one has found a good pallet company yet with good gear for sale ( not hoovers though) lol0
