Adult Dependant Grant

Hi guys,
I had confirmation of my financiL support this morning from the Open University, all thumbs up. But on the letter they sent me, they say I maybee eligible for an Adult Dependant Grant, but I don't think I meet the criteria and I have googled it for the last half hour and it doesn't tell me much on age range.
I'm 22 and my partner is 22, we share a rented house, I'll be the one studying and she will be the one working £12,200 a year,
Can anyone help me weather or not we would be entitled to this?
Thanks
James

Are you working whilst doing your degree with OU?
How much is your rent, council tax and house/life insurance?
If you google ADG then it will bring up some info, it's worth applying for even if they then say no. The max is £2642!I believe that I have the strength to make my dreams come true:T September Challenge £5 per day - £0/£150 :T0 -
I'll stick the application in anyway, see what they say. I don't fully understand the way the OU has asked me to fill it in because they have identified that I'm able to receive it and then sent me 1 form to get back ASAP with no guidance notes, I'll just take their word for it, will be nice if I get it eh.0
