Best Card to start stoozing with?

What is the best card to start stoozing with? Realistically I think I will only be given a low credit limit, but would like to take advantage of some free money!

Idea is to stick a lump sum in the ICICI savings account and then drip feed it into a regular saver...

Any help much appreciated

Cheers

James

One that doesn't charge a BT fee. Check out this table.

Define "low". If very low then you'll make very little (if any) money from fast stoozing. You might want to consider slow-stoozing or cashback cards instead. M&S may be a good card though, since a reasonable limit means you could exploit the travellers cheque loophole (effectively a 1% BT fee), and a poor limit still gives you the possibility to slow stooz it and hopefully gain a couple of limit increases within the 12 month intro period.

Best practice is to have your money readily accessible at all times - just in case your 0% is withdrawn (ie by missing a payment), or you can't shift the debt at the end of an intro period.
  • If you are certain that it won't be though (i.e. fast stoozing with a balance trasnfer and no purchases (cut the card up to be sure) and minimum payments by direct debit) you will be OK as long as the regular saver ends on or before the time the 0% does. Maybe not best practice but safe.
